My Laser Away Clear + Brilliant Update

If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen my posts and IG stories following along in my Clear + Brilliant treatments with LaserAway. I was afraid at first, I wasn’t sure what to expect during or after the treatment. So I thought I would share my journey and some photos and let you know first hand how this has worked for me.

Here are photos from my first treatment, they snapped these right before starting my treatment.

Clear + Brilliant offers two treatment options:

  1. A 1440-nanometer wavelength laser, which reduces pore size, diminishes fine lines and improves skin texture.
  2. A 1927-nanometer wavelength laser, which treats such pigmentation issues as melisma, sun spots, and other types of sun damage.

Clear + Brilliant creates millions of microscopic treatment zones, replacing damaged skin with healthy, younger-looking tissue. The result is a youthful glow.

I personally wanted to work on helping my redness and skin texture due to old acne scars. I never really felt confident sporting a fresh face with no makeup, It wasn’t until my late 20’s that my skin really calmed down and I was able to focus on regaining that fresh face I always dreamed of.

Pain During Treatment

When I was offered to try the Clear + Brillant treatments I was so excited! I never had tried any sort of laser treatments and had no clue as to what to expect. I was surprised the treatment wasn’t as painful as I had imagined, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest form of pain the pain was a solid 6 or 7 depending on the strength used during the treatment. You do feel the heat and stingy/tingly feeling and they do provide you with a hose that blows out cool air which helps ease the heat.

Down Time

The downtime is actually none. After each treatment, I get red (like a bad sunburn) and my skin feels really dry. You can apply makeup right after your treatment, I choose to keep a fresh face and have a couple ice packs nearby. The days following my laser treatment I use SPF and anything hydrating religiously until I regain the supple soft skin again. The redness only last 2-3 days and dryness usually last around 5 days.  I get these done once a month and I’ve only had four treatments so far.

This is my skin right before my 4th treatment. I’ve noticed a big decrease in redness and a much more even complexion. My skin has gained a smoother finish which I love because it’s made my skin look radiant and healthy. Excuse the super pale complexion, because I go often enough to get these treatments I have to make sure I keep my face out of the sun and use a high SPF.

I will also be posting my skincare routine that I use after my treatments. Let me know if you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer any!

Summer Hair- Chocolate Mauve

If you follow my blog or Instagram you can see how I am a super fan of pinks and pale purples. I was dying for some change in my hair color, something cute and fun. I was really a fan of all the rose gold hair but being a brunette I didn’t want too much bleaching or maintenance. I came across the Chocolate mauve and instantly knew that’s what I wanted for my fun summer hair update!

My stylist Jacqueline was able to balayage this mauve, rose gold chocolate tones into my hair and created this beautiful hair! I am so happy and thankful that she was able to make this girl’s dream hair come true! #summerhairinspo

Arizona babes, be sure to check out Jacqueline IG and visit her over at Beauty Bar in Peoria or at her location in Scottsdale! She’s the sweetest and her work is gorgeous!

Trendy Personalized Home Decor

Thanks to Shutterfly for sponsoring this post! Please know all opinions are my own and I only share with you what I truly believe in and love!

With my recent living room update, I got into an updating my home binge. I really wanted to personalize my space with little touches of family photos, and other unique trendy personalized accents.

I am not the best at taking the time to print out our family photos or getting around to framing them, hence the lack of family photos in our home. It is always nice to see those memories with those you love in your home, it brings a warmth that can’t be bought at your average home decor store.

I was so thrilled when I discovered Shutterfly and their great selection of home decor items! They offered a wide range in styles and I was able to easily find items that fit my home decor style. What really stood out to me was how easy and little time it took to create these pieces.

Personalization can seem like a time-consuming task or you worry you won’t create what you wanted due to the lack of selection of products. At Shutterfly once I found the products I wanted it was so easy to personalize them with a diverse range of fonts and layouts. Another really cool feature Shutterfly has is their art library! I was able to find this really neat Geode Canvas Print from Mandy Moores curated collection with Shutterfly. I was able to pick my desired size and frame, the process was really easy and I am so happy with the results.

I absolutely love how this acrylic photo block turned out, I am a big fan of acrylic pieces and this accent was the perfect piece to tie into my kitchen decor. I was able to get really creative with my items. I got to personalize the scent of my candle as well as the style of font and use filters for my photo to help create the desired look I had in mind.

I absolutely love the items I created for my kitchen! I customized this canvas tote for my farmers market trips and this beautiful unique cutting board and stemless wine glass was the perfect 4 year wedding anniversary gift for us.  These pieces make a beautiful statement when entertaining and help me achieve that personalized creative accents I was looking for. It’s the little creative touches that really make your space and style stand out. Shutterfly helps achieve this by offering a wide selection of customizable products and the ability to personalize each product.

I am always looking for easy ways to be creative especially when it comes to my home and style. If you can think of a space that can use a nice personalized uplift I ask you to check out Shutterfly! With their help, you can bring your creative home decor ideas to life!
