Potty Training Season

My most dreaded room to clean in the house are the restrooms. I dislike that I dislike toclean them as often. With a house full of boys and my youngest one potty training its really no surprise!

Let’s be honest a clean restroom does make for a serene escape, especially around my evening retreat for a long-awaited bath away from the kids. I recently started a cleaning routine for all of our restrooms to help maintain the freshness and keeping it clean throughout our busy week.

Best ways to keep up with bathrooms

Clean all of the restrooms on the same day
Focus on every surface
If you don’t have time to clean the showers/tubs set that task aside for a certain day out of the week or bi weekly. It helps me feel a little less overwhelmed with the task of cleaning the bathrooms.
Carry a caddy with your supplies if you can’t store them in each bathroom
Use cleaners that disinfect

Fight Hunger + Spark Change

I have partnered with Walmart to help spread awareness to their Fight Hunger cause with Feeding America ®. This is Walmart’s 6th year promoting the Fight Hunger, Spark Change campaign that aims to end food insecurity in our local communities in America.

Now until May 20th you can purchase a wide selection of products from your local Walmart or Walmart.com and help secure a meal for a family who is struggling with food insecurity.

40 million Americans struggle with food insecurity at least once in a year. By purchasing items already on my shopping list I can help those who are struggling. Raising my children to be aware of those in need and always doing what they can to help others is something I am constantly working to instill in them. Walmart makes this so effortless by having so many items my family loves on their list of items that will help secure meals.

As a mother you realize it’s the slow moments that matter the most with your children. I try and do things like picnic at the parks to play and spend quality time with them. It’s a great time away from distractions and also a great opportunity to create conversations.

We enjoyed our favorite Clif bars, Jif peanut butter sandwiches, lime Bubly sparkling water, and Cheez-it crackers. All of these item’s we purchased at Walmart in store and were able to help secure meals for those in need. It felt really great to contribute to others while planning a really fun picnic with my kids!

One thing that brings a smile to my face and a sense of achievement is having a stocked and organized pantry. Stocking up food and snacks for my family is my biggest responsibility, one that I don’t take lightly.

Knowing 1 in 8 Americans struggle with food insecurity I like to make sure nothing we buy is wasted. I find that storing our snacks and food with more visible and easily accessible storage means we know exactly what we have and nothing gets wasted.

Sparking change and providing meals to families who are in need of them has never been easier when I make my family meals, pack school lunches and provide snacks for my kids. By hopping at Walmart you can help fight hunger by purchasing items like the ones featured in my post.

I’m sure you have all seen the Marie Kondo organizing skills, and although I haven’t tackled my whole house yet I am proud to say my pantry is organized and looking great!

I will say the hardest part is finding containers that will work for your pantry. Its a very personalized space, your preferred food and snacks need to fit properly for this to work. My main goal is to have things properly fit and be easily accessible.

My family is pretty easy, they usually like the same type of snacks and are happy with me always stocking up our pantry staples. I will link my top picks for pantry storage options that are great pieces for any pantry!

Tip: It looks best if you use the same color, styles etc. to keep your pantry looking clean.
