We have been busy with a few house projects, This courtyard outdoor space is one project we have had so much fun fixing up.
I have always loved this courtyard space ever since I first laid eyes on this floorplan. I really wanted to create an outdoor space that had the comfort of an indoor space.
Creating an outdoor space in Arizona can be tricky, the heat and sun can destroy so much out here during the summer and monsoon season. Keeping that in mind I kept everything easy to shuffle around, cover and store if needed.
I found these beautiful Lilac Vine’s at my local Home Depot and I’m obsessed! If you’re looking for an easy flower plant, this is a good option! It’s a popular one here in Arizona because it is drought-friendly! I’m hoping they will grow up onto our pergola once that’s in.
Big Plans//
There’s still a couple more big projects we have planned for this space that include: French doors, floor to ceiling windows to match the new doors, brick pavers and a wood pergola to cover this space to create more privacy and shade.
