Mom Hack: Hot Cocoa

I’m the type of mom that loves a quick and easy recipe, especially in the mornings. Lately, my kids have been obsessed with hot cocoa and ask me to make it any chance they get.

I have the easiest and tastiest mom hack for yummy hot cocoa that will make you feel better about your little ones drinking a warm cup of cocoa. It only takes 5 minutes to whip up!

Carnation Breakfast Essentials Probiotics is a super-easy way to make sure your kids get protein and vitamins and minerals into their diet.

My son Jude is a really picky eater and won’t take traditional kid vitamins, this has been a game-changer for us!

One packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials Probiotics contains 13g protein, 21 vitamins, and minerals, also offering digestive and immune support. This also contains NO artificial sweeteners, colors or flavors.

Bathroom Update Reveal

Yay!! It’s here, it’s done, our very first DIY renovation.

Before I get into the details, I want to say my husband did a chunk of labor that this project consisted of so that saved us a lot of money. We only paid for supplies and materials.

When building this home with WoodSide Homes, we only opted for upgraded cabinets and the tile color. We wanted a blank slate for feature projects like this one.

So here is a break down of what we did in our master bath

  • Tile backsplash
  • Brass Faucets
  • Cabinet Hardware
  • Brass pivot Mirrors
  • Brass/glass globe light fixtures.
  • Vanity Mirror
  • Towel Hooks

The after

I really love the softness the brass brings to the table in this room. The tile backsplash is a beautiful touch and so much more detailed then I expected. Things we still want to change out are the countertops, shower, and flooring. I will link everything at the bottom of this post for you guys!

Creating space for my vanity was a major goal of mine for this space. The faux drawers below my vanity mirror will soon be replaced with working drawers, which will offer much-needed space for makeup organization.

The process was way more tedious than we expected. Backsplash tiling takes a lot of patience. I am so grateful my husband was up for the challenge! All the materials we used for the tiling was purchased at Home Depot.

This update has us excited about all the neat upgrades we will slowly be doing to our home, Its been fun working on this together as a team!
