Yay!! It’s here, it’s done, our very first DIY renovation.
Before I get into the details, I want to say my husband did a chunk of labor that this project consisted of so that saved us a lot of money. We only paid for supplies and materials.
When building this home with WoodSide Homes, we only opted for upgraded cabinets and the tile color. We wanted a blank slate for feature projects like this one.

So here is a break down of what we did in our master bath
- Tile backsplash
- Brass Faucets
- Cabinet Hardware
- Brass pivot Mirrors
- Brass/glass globe light fixtures.
- Vanity Mirror
- Towel Hooks

I really love the softness the brass brings to the table in this room. The tile backsplash is a beautiful touch and so much more detailed then I expected. Things we still want to change out are the countertops, shower, and flooring. I will link everything at the bottom of this post for you guys!

Creating space for my vanity was a major goal of mine for this space. The faux drawers below my vanity mirror will soon be replaced with working drawers, which will offer much-needed space for makeup organization.
The process was way more tedious than we expected. Backsplash tiling takes a lot of patience. I am so grateful my husband was up for the challenge! All the materials we used for the tiling was purchased at Home Depot.
This update has us excited about all the neat upgrades we will slowly be doing to our home, Its been fun working on this together as a team!
